After experimenting with other motives for a while I decided it was time to come back to the roots… A portrait…About time, I know.
I always liked the expression in the original Laetitia Casta picture, one of my earlier pieces. This time around I wanted to amplify it and bring out that contrast a little more. So what I did is I desaturated the picture after adding more details to the face and the hair and improving the resolution of the picture.
I then went in and completely redid the eyes to benefit from the resolution increase a bit. And well, there you have it, folks… As always, your opinions are welcome…
