Here I wanted to try something new, asteroids… It took me a relatively short time to paint those asteroids, even though every single one of them is hand-painted.
Not one of them is a copy-and-paste job. This picture took a relatively long time, overall. The problem was the background. I painted several different starfields, but wasn’t happy with any of them.
Then I did what I usually do in those cases, started all over again. And finally, I got it right. Well, at least now it looks like what I wanted for the picture. An overly blue theme, where the asteroids, done in yellowish-red colors stand out. So what do you think? Let me know. In the meantime…
