Beckoning

From the warmth of the little kitten (The Gathering) to the cold vastness of space, what a transition…. This picture is my first attempt at painting space. Inspired by the art of Greg Martin, plus his awesome tutorials, I decided to give it a shot. Needless to say that I still have alot to learn, but this was a fun picture. The total duration for this piece was about an hour. I loved painting this, it is fun and your can let your imagination roam…And just like space, the possibilities are limitless…
