You might say, oh well, here we go again…Another silhouette painting…And you are right!
This one actually got to be on a whim. I guess the Tom Cruise movie Last Samurai inspired me even more than I realized. So today I just decided, what the heck, sat down and painted…this. There was no source used for photo reference. Everything is completely 100% from imagination. Also, it was a nice test for the techniques I picked up over the last few paintings… It was completed in about two hours, refining the sky for an additional hour. I love it and I hope you are, too. As always, I welcome every critique or comment…
